Another serious problem lies in the writer’s pornographic imagination. I did really like the figures and symbols use for the spirits and afterlife but I would have liked to have more background infos on some of the characters and covenstead.

This is the worst Whitley Strieber book I have read. What’s New – Home – Login. About halfway into the book, I can safely declare I’m rooting for the Cat.

In striebr sense the book is a spokespiece for witchcraftand is most interesting as suchnot black magic witchcraft, but the ancient wisdom of worshipping the earth and the seasons, of living with and respecting nature and the holy in people and animals.

Streiber is an excellent writer and is very good at understanding both male and female views. This book is on the off-side, but still enjoyable to read.

Well, some part I maguc well and other parts of the book had been forgotten. I really have nothing good to say. This was my favorite book for years and years.

Cat Magic has its all, witchcraft, religion, and science. The characters and plot were okay, but they just could not struggle through the mounds of prose that were heaped all about. I am not from the US and I do not have any idea about Wiccan or whatever it seems a bunch of hippies to me doing nature rituals and all that, a religion for the ones who need to believe in something and dont know exactly what.

And, there is quite a few other tales being woven along in this story.

I would re-read it. See if you have enough points for this item.

Depending on your own vision, you’ll like it or not.

Cat Magic had some promise in that respect. Overall, it was an enjoyable read and a good trip down memory lane! She’s an artist, looking for work — strieher that someone has a desperate need for her, a dark plan that may require Amanda to enter death itself. It’s basically whitlwy same way I truly see the problem too so I was happy to see it that way and that’s why I used quotes.

I found the narrator to sounded like she wasn’t really interested in the story. To complicate whiley, Amanda’s striebre uncle George, who is involved in research in resuscitating the dead, has finally gone over the edge and is looking for a healthy young woman as his next subject. All good subjects, but not when laid on with a shovel. What’s the Name o Strieber alone wrote this book. It is fairly well done, though not great.

It is ancient beyond memory.
